Teufel Audio, based in Berlin, has introduced the Rockster Neo, a party speaker that truly delivers. With a peak volume of 130 dB, the Rockster Neo ignites any celebration. Additionally, its replaceable battery allows for use in any location. This speaker is also built to last. The rubber edges protect it from damage during transport, and the splash-proof design ensures it remains intact even in heavy rain. Alongside Bluetooth connectivity, users have access to two analogue inputs.
Previously, no Teufel speaker achieved such an impressive volume. The Rockster Neo sets a new benchmark with its 130 dB output. However, it’s not solely about loudness; to guarantee high-quality sound, Teufel incorporates an XXL coaxial system, featuring a tweeter centrally located within the large 300-millimeter woofer.
Music can be streamed wirelessly to the speaker via Bluetooth. The XLR/6.35 mm combo jack supports two wired audio sources. The volume of mixed external sources can be fine-tuned using the gain control on the rear. External audio media, instruments or microphones can be connected via the analogue inputs. This makes the Rockster Neo ideal for karaoke sessions and spontaneous mini-concerts.
Teufel Rockster Neo: robust and versatile
The Rockster Neo is resistant to dirt and splash water according to the IP44 standard. This means that even a shower cannot harm the speaker. The extremely sturdy and robust housing is protected with rubber bumpers. And although the Rockster Neo is certainly not a flyweight at over 17 kilograms, it can easily be transported by one or two people thanks to the large handles.
Teufel Rockster Neo: Playing time and controls
The Rockster Neo can operate for 36 hours at medium volume thanks to a powerful lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. This can be replaced in no time, so that the party fun can continue virtually uninterrupted. It is also possible to charge a mobile phone via the USB-C port of the Rockster Neo.
All basic functions can be controlled via buttons on the front of the device. There is an on/off button, four LEDs for displaying the battery charge, a Bluetooth button, a volume control, a button for playing and pausing music, and a status LED for displaying the volume. This is supplemented by buttons for the sound mode and party link function. In addition to a standard sound mode for indoor use, an outdoor mode is available for optimizing the sound reproduction in open-air environments.
The eco mode helps to save battery power by reducing the bass level and volume. The party link function allows two Rockster Neos to be connected wirelessly to form a stereo pair. An alternative option is to connect 100 Rockster Neos and other compatible Teufel speakers in series. The speakers can also be connected to each other via an XLR cable.
