Anthem

The Canadian consortium Sonic Frontiers International brings together several well-known brands in the audio world, including Paradigm and Anthem.  The Anthem brand produces top-level electronic equipment for equipping home theaters – AV processors, AV receivers and multi-channel power amplifiers. All Anthem equipment is not only designed, but also made in Canada, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. Power amplifiers are divided into several series. Within each family, all components are as unified as possible – from identical housings to standard amplifier modules.

The company maintains high quality standards regardless of the price group. Anthem’s electronic components allow you to literally lose yourself in the sound, whether you’re listening to a stereo or multi-channel system. This brand has an impeccable reputation as a manufacturer of analog and digital devices; Anthem electronics constantly receive awards in tests from the most respected magazines in the audio world, including the American Stereophile, one of the most authoritative and respected publications.

For a while, Anthem released proven audio processors, including the high-end D1 model, then added functionality in the form of HDMI inputs and video processing in the D2 version. These additional features are now available as a modular upgrade for D1 owners, demonstrating better customer support than many well-known competitors. Rather than adding cheap processing like many receivers, Anthem opted for the VXP media processor chip from Sigma Designs, which is used in the respected Crystalio 2 and Lumagen Radiance video processors. Nothing inspires more confidence in the effectiveness and merits of Anthem’s product than this fact. Later, the technology of sound correction for the acoustic conditions of the room – ARC – (Anthem Room Correction) appeared. It can be confused with Audio Return Channel or Audio Rate Control, but it is not your typical digital room correction. The system was independently developed by the company based on research conducted by the Canadian National Research Council under the leadership of Professor Floyd Toole, a renowned acoustician in the world, and is significantly different from other technologies.

As the main corporate concept, Anthem calls the production of high-end equipment, which at the same time has a very reasonable cost. The company strives to maintain its high quality standards, regardless of the price group to which a particular device belongs.
